UNDERGRADUATE COURSES

To be admitted as an undergraduate student an applicant must be a high school graduate, have earned an equivalency diploma or demonstrated the ability to pursue college level study. Because Cambridge Intercontinental University does not generally offer lower division courses, learners should have completed all lower division courses elsewhere or have the life/work experiences that are assessed as equivalent to required general studies courses

GRADUATE COURSES

To be admitted as a graduate learner, an applicant must have a bachelor's degree or its equivalent from a college or university acceptable to the academic administration. In very special circumstances and with the approval of the Dean, a person without an undergraduate degree, who can show evidence of ability to pursue graduate study, may be admitted as a provisional graduate learner. There will be no admittance to the doctoral program without an acceptable master's degree or its equivalent in transcripted credits and/or in-depth career experience.

Students, who plan to earn a degree from Cambridge Intercontinental University and then plan to transfer to another college or university, are encouraged to contact that school in advance, as CIU degrees may not be transferable.

The University's degree programs are not designed to meet any particular licensing or credentialing laws. If you are seeking a degree for licensing purposes, CIU advises that you check with the licensing body or association to determine if a degree from Cambridge Intercontinental University is acceptable.
